Congratulations to Free Enterprise Speak Off Winners

The Clean Technologies & Sustainable Industries Early College High School Program is participating in the 7th Annual Free Enterprise Marathon, sponsored by SUNY Plattsburgh.  Juniors and seniors in the Clean Tech ECHS program competed in the first part of the competition, "Free Enterprise Speak Off" at HVCC's TEC-SMART facility in Malta, N.Y. on December 20, 2018.  The first place winner was junior, Riley Walz, from Ballston Spa High School.  He will win $100 prize from SUNY Plattsburgh for his outstanding speech on "Free Enterprise:  Why it is Essential for Tomorrow's Entrepreneurs".  Other students who also successfully placed in the first part of the competition will join Riley at SUNY Plattsburgh for the second part of the competition in the Creativity & Innovation Competition.  Those on the team to join Riley include: Ashley Calhoun, junior, Broadalbin Perth High School, Bryce Dittrich, senior, Saratoga Springs High School, Lindsey Gileski, senior, Galway High School, and Christian Hines, senior, Galway High School.  We look forward to this opportunity for our students.
