BSHS Students recognized for Community Service

Ballston Spa High School (BSHS) senior Jillian Fernau was presented a Student Recognition Award by the Adirondack Area School Boards Association (AASBA) for her dedication to community service. She was one of 29 area seniors nominated by AASBA member school districts for their outstanding community service. The students were recently honored at a dinner in Lake George where they received a signed recognition letter from Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner and a monetary award.

Ballston Spa senior Nathalie Chateauneuf was presented with a 2022 Student Community Service Award from the Saratoga County School Board Association at a recent recognition ceremony in Clifton Park. She was one of 11 students from high schools throughout Saratoga County to receive the award for outstanding community service.

Jillian is the Valedictorian and Nathalie is the Salutatorian of the BSHS Class of 2022. They both have excelled academically and have earned a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation and Honors with Mastery in Mathematics and Science. They will receive their diplomas, along with close to 300 classmates, at the annual commencement ceremonies being held on June 23, 2022 at 4:00pm in the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.
