Ballston Spa Athletic Teams Complete Fall Season

Interscholastic Athletic Accomplishments for Fall 2020

It was a High School athletic season like no other. The beginning of fall sports was delayed in August as the state faced the COVID-19 virus and the corresponding health and safety precautions and requirements put forth by the various government entities and the NYSPHSAA, Section 2 Suburban Council (SSC). By late September, the district was offering the opportunities for student athletes to participate in five varsity-level sports, while other sports were pushed to a Fall 2 season in the spring of 2021.

All five of the Ballston Spa fall varsity teams qualified for recognition as a NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete Team based on the academic accomplishments of 62 student athletes (combined GPA of 96.84).  Congratulations to all!  #GoScotties
