Our food service continues to prepare FREE meals for all students in the district- for both in-school students and remote learners. Families of remote learners are able to pick up at Gordon Creek Elementary School twice a week. Families of remote learners may pick up meals at the front entrance to the Gordon Creek Elementary School (on Rt 67 just west of the village) between 1:15 – 2:15pm on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Please note the following changes to meal pick up days/times during the Spring recess:

In an effort to ensure all of our students have food for the break (April 2-9) the district will be offering meals for pickup over Spring recess. Meals are available to any Ballston Spa student free of charge.

Parents/Caregivers just need to provide the student’s name and school at pickup (no registration required). Adults are allowed to pick up for multiple students.

The district will provide three breakfast meals and three lunch meals on Monday, April 5, 2021 and four breakfast meals and four lunch meals on Wednesday, April 7, 2021.  The pickup location is at the Gordon Creek Elementary School between 10:00–11:00am.

School Lunch Updates – The the school lunch program at all elementary schools underwent several changes in November. These changes were being made to address issues incurred during the start of school. Your patience is appreciated during these challenging times.

    1. Parent Meal Order Forms – The meal order form sent home with students will no longer be necessary. Students will order their lunch meals during breakfast each day.
    2. Breakfast – There will be one choice each day for breakfast. This meal will include the entrée, a portion of fruit or juice, and milk. No advance ordering is necessary.
    3. Lunch – For lunch there will be a hot and cold option available daily. The main entrée will rotate each day and will include the entrée, a vegetable, fresh fruit, and milk. The second option will be the bagel/yogurt meal which includes a vegetable, fruit and milk as well. As mentioned, this will be ordered by students during breakfast.

All meals will be free for all students throughout the school yearmilk is available for purchase (charged to student accounts) and/or is available free with meals. Please note, there is a charge for second meals at breakfast and lunch.

Meals for remote learning students may be picked up at the Gordon Creek Elementary School, between 1:15 and 2:15 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. Deliveries are not available.
