Educators Awarded BSEF Grants

The Ballston Spa Education Foundation (BSEF) recently presented $6,047.80 in Fall 2019 grant awards to educators in the Ballston Spa Central School District for educational enrichment projects throughout the district. The recent fall cycle included the following grants:  $1,000 to fund the Scotties Pantry at the Ballston Spa Middle School (BSMS), $2,177 to fund the purchase of a large format professional art printer for the Ballston Spa High School, $1,470.80 to fund Sensory Paths at Gordon Creek Elementary School and $1,400 to fund a karaoke machine for BSMS.

With these latest grant awards, the BSEF has, since its inception in 1996, funded over $390,000 in enrichment grants to the school district. The Ballston Spa Education Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with an all-volunteer board made up of community members whose mission is to raise and distribute resources for educational enrichment opportunities outside the realm of the daily operational needs of the Ballston Spa Central School District.
