The Ballston Spa Education Foundation (BSEF) recently presented two grants to educators in the Ballston Spa Central School District for educational enrichment projects in the district.
The Spring 2022 Grants totaled $1,173.52 and included the following awards: $600 awarded to Gina Ralston, Reading Teacher at Gordon Creek Elementary, to purchase books for a classroom reading library and $573.52 was awarded to Jennifer McGuinness, 8th grade English Teacher at Ballston Spa Middle School for BreakoutEDU content-based escape kits.
Ballston Spa Education Foundation is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Since its inception, BSEF has funded nearly ½ million dollars in enrichment grants to the school district. BSEF is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with an all-volunteer board made up of community members whose mission is to raise and distribute resources for educational enrichment opportunities outside the realm of the daily operational needs of the Ballston Spa Central School District.
