Celebrate School Pride Day 2019

The Ballston Spa Central School District annual SCHOOL PRIDE DAY will be held on May 21, 2019 throughout the district. All events & performances are free and open to the public. Come join the festivities, wear your purple & gold and help celebrate Scottie Pride. Student artwork and class projects will be on display at Ballston Spa High School (BSHS) and at the Malta Town Hall for public viewing. 

The annual MS/HS Student Art Show will be held in the BSHS Art Wing from 5:00 – 7:30pm. Come and see a collective sample of students’ creativity from grades 6 through 12.  

Student Performances and Events scheduled in the BSHS Cafeteria include:
2:30 – 6:00 pm – Ice Cream Social
4:45 – 5:10 pm – Elementary Band & Orchestra Ensembles Perform
5:15 – 5:45 pm – MS Jazz Band Performance
6:45 – 7:30 pm – Penny Harvest Reception (following the awards ceremony at 6:15pm)  

The BSHS Building Classes will host a Tiny Home Dedication Ceremony at 3:00pm, followed by tours, outside the main entrance to BSHS. 

A community wide Bar-B-Que is also being sponsored by the Ballston Spa Association of Teaching Assistants (BSATA) from 3:30pm – 6:30pm at BSHS for dine-in or take-out. 

The annual SEFCU Penny Harvest Awards will be presented by students at 6:15pm in the BSHS Auditorium, followed by a reception in the Cafeteria. 

The High School Spring Concert Part II features the High School Symphonic Orchestra and Wind Ensemble.  It begins at 7:30pm in the BSHS Auditorium.
