A Message from the Superintendent - Bus Shortage Grades 6-12

Unfortunately, the three buses that were unavailable to transport students to the High and Middle Schools this morning will not be able to transport students home this afternoon. Specifically, BSCSD School Bus numbers #324 Alligator, #331 Swan, and #339 Starfish remain without a bus driver due to a number of our bus drivers being put on quarantine for close contact with a positive COVID-19 case or being sick.

Parents with students assigned to these buses will need to arrange to pick up their children from school at the end of the day today, Tuesday, November 30, 2021.

The Middle and High School late bus runs also need to be canceled. Later today we will be sending the anticipated schedule for tomorrow’s bus availability.

Good morning to you all.

Once again we have bus routes that cannot be covered for middle and high school students only for today Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Those buses are #324 Alligator, #331 Swan, and #339 Starfish.

Parents of Students in Grades 6-12 on Buses 324, 331, and 339: Please notify the Middle School at 518-884-7200 ext. 4306 or High School at 518-884-7150 if your child cannot be transported so that arrangements can be made for their instructional plan for the day.

We will notify you as soon as possible about arrangements for this afternoon’s bus runs.

Thank you very much for your help with this and we apologize in advance for the inconvenience that this will cause today.
