Teacher Appreciation Sign up:
The PTA is planning a Staff Appreciation lunch for the Gordon Creek staff on Thursday, May 11th. The Tacos Flacos food truck will be providing tacos. We are in need of some donations from families for supplemental food and drink items. Please label items "Staff Lunch" and drop off to the Gordon Creek office by Wednesday, May 10th. Thank you!
Touch a Truck: May 6th
The Ballston Spa High School National Honor Society is excited to present the 2023 Touch A Truck event! The event will be held at Gordon Creek Elementary on May 6, 2023 from 10:00am - 1:00pm. This family event will offer kids of all ages the opportunity to explore a variety of different vehicles, such as: fire, police, military and construction vehicles. There will be a horn free hour from 10:00am-11:00am. This is a free event and open to surrounding communities.
Spring Fling : May 12th
May 12th from 5:30-7:30 on the front lawn of Gordon Creek!
We are looking for volunteers to help out at some stations!
To alleviate some of the congestion this year we have decided to add in a STEM presentation with a Mad Scientist! We ask that your grade level go into the gym during your designated time for this hands on show. This will allow for shorter lines outside and more fun to be had by all!
5:30-6:15 K,1st,& 2nd gr. Mad Scientist in Gym
6:30-7:15 3rd, 4th,& 5th gr. Mad Scientist in Gym
Free: 5 Blow ups, Music, Open Air Photo Booth, Face Painting, Crafts, Cotton Candy, Balloon Artist, and a Mad Scientist !

Kids Run / Scottie Stampede
The District’s annual Wellness Day will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the Wood Road Elementary School complex. The day begins at 7:45am with a check-in for the FREE Kids Color Fun Run which starts at 8:15am. At 8:45am, check-in will begin for the Scotties Stampede 5k and at 9:15am the race will begin with a brand new course that starts and ends in the Wood Road bus loop. Runners and walkers are all invited and welcome to participate! Race registration for the Kids Color Run and the Scotties Stampede 5k can be found HERE.
