International Baccalaureate Update

The middle school continues the work of implementing the Middle Years IB program. Throughout the year we have worked with students to learn and apply our 10  Learner Profile traits(Puzzle Scottie ).

On February 10th we will have another IB Learner Profile Trait day that will highlight the trait of Open-Mindedness.  Students will work with teachers, classmates and the school administration learning what it means to live this character trait and how it is incorporated in our daily lives. During this day students will have the opportunity to celebrate their peers from Launching Pad who will perform one of the songs from the Matilda Jr. musical. The work we have done with our students this year has been highly valuable as it has allowed our students and our school community to come together as a “ Village of Friends”. When you have time please take a moment and discuss with your student what they have learned in regards to our IB Profile traits.
