What are your priorities? Let us know -ARPA Survey

The 2021-22 enacted New York State budget includes language requiring local education agencies, such as school districts, that receive funding from the Federal Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund allocated by the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA-ESSER) to post on its website a plan by each of the school years of the ARP grant (2021-22, 2022-2023, and a portion of 2023- 2024) as to how these funds will be spent.

As we continue with the development of this plan as well as the plans for other federal, state, and local funding including next year’s District budget, we are seeking feedback from parents, faculty and staff, and other community members as to what initiatives should be considered as priorities.

Please review the proposed district plan which can be found HERE, the video of this presentation which can be found HERE, and then complete the survey.

As this plan and our overall budget development for the District will continue to evolve over the coming months, we will keep this survey open during the summer months so that we can continue to receive and monitor feedback. In addition, should you have comments or questions that are directly related to this plan, please submit them to schoolopening@bscsd.org

Thank you in advance for your time, for sharing your thoughts with us and for taking the time to assist us in our work!
