  • BSHS Student Artwork Featured

    Ballston Spa High School students were recently selected to exhibit their work at the annual Saratoga All Stars Art Show. Their work is on display from January 11 – February 8, 2020 at the Saratoga Arts Center with the work of other students from throughout Saratoga, Fulton & Montgomery counties. Students selected for the show include Mason Malpass, Leah Thimineur, Lindsey Warner, Shelby Whitney, Alexys Donnley, Brandy Walosin, Savannah Ingram, Lexi Lumley, Sarah Helly, Mallory Czimbal, Anna Harmon, and Sabrina Hu.   • IB Programme Offers Info Night

    Ballston Spa High School’s International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme will host an IB Information Night on January 7, 2020 from 6:00-7:00 pm in the High School Library for interested students and families. In addition to hearing about the IB options available at Ballston Spa High School, both public and private colleges will present on what role IB plays in the college admissions process. Also joining us in the discussion will be current IB students and teachers.

  • HS students mentor WR students

    Members of the Ballston Spa High School International Baccalaureate and Sponsor-A-Scholar programs have continued mentoring Wood Road students for the second year. Once a month the high school students travel to Wood Road with games and activities that they have planned for their mentees. Throughout the rest of the month the students write pen pal letters to each other. The faces of all students light up when the two groups come together.

  • Winter Concerts at the High School

    The Ballston Spa Central School District Music Department is presenting several winter concerts during the upcoming weeks. The concerts are free and members of the community are welcome at all venues. Students and families are specifically invited and encouraged to attend and support the performing artists. The High School Winter Concert series begins with performances by the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Orchestra on Thursday, December 5, 2019. The series continues with performances by the Concert Band and Orchestra on Monday, December 9, 2019. The final concert features the High School Choirs and Jazz Bands and will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2019. All performances begin promptly at 7:30 pm and will be held in the Ballston Spa High School Auditorium at 220 Ballston Avenue.

  • HS Interact Students help with Christmas Trees

    Interact Club students help assist our local Rotary with the set-up of 750 Christmas trees at Curtis Lumber. This is an annual event that is always fun and a great success!

  • BSHS French Exchange Experience

    20 French students and two chaperones arrived at Ballston Spa High School on October 14th with great enthusiasm from their BSHS student hosts and families. The French students have been learning about American culture while staying with local student hosts and attending school with them.
