  • Parent Survey Info & Request to complete by 8/7

    We continue our work and planning for the reopening of schools in September. While we currently have a general plan in which all of the technical requirements from the Department of Health and the State Education Department are met, making this technical plan an operational plan for each of our schools will require additional work and additional information. For additional information, we are asking parents for your help in letting us know the intentions that each of you have for your child(ren) for the fall by completing a survey before August 7, 2020..

  • BSHS Graduation Diploma Ceremony

    The Ballston Spa High School will host a diploma ceremony for the Class of 2020 on THURSDAY, August 6, 2020. The ceremony will be broadcast live via YouTube so additional family members and the community can view the presentation of diplomas.

    Families and staff members who are traveling to/vacationing in the states listed on the NYS Department of Health travel advisory page must quarantine for 14 days upon their return.

    The Ballston Spa Summer Lunch Program will provide free, healthy and nutritious lunches Monday through Friday during July and August.

  • Drive Through Food Pantry - 7/30

    We will host a community food distribution on July 30, 2020 starting at 9am at the Ballston Spa High/Middle Schools. All families/community members are invited to enter the bus loop by the Middle School and remain in their cars while volunteers load FREE food/supplies into their car.

  • Childcare for Essential Personnel

    As we move towards the completion of the school year and look towards the summer, we know that some of you may still struggle with having access to quality child care. Please be aware that New York State provides a Capital District Child Care Coordinating Council as a resource for essential workers, to secure child care during the summer months.

  • Morley Literacy Award Presented to Students

    Ballston Spa fifth grade students were recently recognized at the annual 5th Grade Moving-Up ceremonies at their elementary schools before the summer break. One student at each school was presented with the Maurice “Christopher” Morley Literacy Award.

  • MTS Alumni Open Time Capsule

    When Ballston Spa teacher Margaret Morrone retired from Milton Terrace South Elementary School in 2009, she buried a time capsule with the students in her First Grade class. The students are now graduating with the Class of 2020 and recently opened up the time capsule with their former teacher.

  • Virtual Field Days

    For the first time at BSCSD, the elementary school Physical Education staff have worked together to create a VIRTUAL FIELD DAY! Elementary students are invited to participate by goin to their PE teacher's google classroom to view the videos and directions for eight fun filled events.
