    If you have a child who will be entering Kindergarten this September and you have not been in touch with the BSCSD Registration Office, please call (518) 602-0256 to pre-enroll the student.

  • A message from the Superintendent (03.27.20)

    On March 27, 2020 the Governor announced that schools would remained closed until April 15, 2020. A decision for closure beyond that date will be determined by the Governor. Therefore, any changes to our April 20, 2020 restart will be communicated once the Governor makes his next decision.

  • Meals Available for F/R Lunch Students

    Free/Reduced Breakfasts and Lunches are available for students enrolled in the program. Parents or other family members may pick up at the Wood Road/Milton Terrace or High Schools. The elementary school Backpack Food Program will also continue during the school closure according to the same delivery methods/time.

  • Robotics Team Develops STEM Activities

    The Ballston Spa High School Robotics Team OxBe4 originally coordinated various STEM activities and supplied materials to encourage the spread of STEM education in rural Afghanistan. During these extraordinary conditions and time, the team is now providing access to these STEM projects to the school children in the community.

    At a time when restaurants are struggling, the Route 50 Diner has donated $800 after they collected and matched a weekend of customer donations to support the Scotties BackPack Program.

    The 5th Annual Scotties Stampede 5k Fun Run/Walk, planned for Saturday, April 4, 2020, has been postponed. The Wellness Expo, planned for the same day, has been cancelled.

    This survey is intended to assess the need for childcare for essential personnel necessary to protect and support the public. If your job is considered essential and requiring you to report to work outside of your home, please answer the survey.

    During this period of school closures, it is critical that students and their families stay home as much as possible. If you leave your home, it is essential to follow social distancing guidelines by avoiding crowds, canceling social gatherings, and maintaining a safe separation of at least 6 feet from others.
