  • Drive Through Food Pantry - October 26th

    Our partners at Ballston Spa National Bank (BSNB), in cooperation with the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York is hosting its next drive-thru food pantry on Tuesday, October 26th, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

    The latest copy of the district newsletter, The Reader, is now available online and will be mailed to area residents in the coming weeks. The newsletter contains a message from the Superintendent and BOE President, with the latest district information including new staff, accomplishments, new programs, athletics and upcoming events.

  • Scottie’s Closet Offers FREE Clothing

    The Middle School will host a Scottie’s Closet on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 9 am to 1 pm. This school community event provides free gently used clothing, books, coats, and shoes annually to about 300 students, families and individuals.

    The Malta Avenue Elementary School is among nineteen schools in New York State and 325 schools in the country to receive the coveted designation as a Blue Ribbon School from the US Department of Education.

  • A Message from the Superintendent - Remote Learning - Friday, October 15, 2021

    The Ballston Spa Central School District will shift to remote learning on Friday, October 15, 2021 due to a shortage of Bus Drivers. Students in grades K-5 will follow a half-day of remote instruction while the Middle and High School students will have a full day of remote instruction.

  • BackPack Program Provides Food for Students

    Through the work of many volunteers, it provides easy-to-prepare food for the weekend to students who may otherwise go without. Beginning in October, this will be the 6th year we’ll be offering the Scotties BackPack Program in collaboration with the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern NY.

    Performances will be at 7:00 pm on Friday and Saturday, November 19 and 20, 2021. There is also a matinee at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 20, 2021.

  • Clean Tech ECHS Offers Info Night - Sept. 23

    The Clean Technologies & Sustainable Industries Early College High School in Malta offers an Information Night for current high school students who are interested in joining the Clean Tech ECHS P-TECH Program. School district leaders, parents and 9th/10th grade students interested in learning more about the program are invited to attend on September 23, 2021 at 6pm.
