Kindergarten Registration

UPK Student
Elementary students return for the new school year

Hello Incoming Kindergarten Parents!

Ballston Spa Kindergarten Registration is done through an online platform called ArbiterSports FamilyID. You will need to set up a Family Account, then you may fill out the form and upload the information needed to fully enroll your child for the 2026-2027 Kindergarten school year. You will need to provide two forms of Proof of Residency for the parent/guardian, and a Birth Certificate for your child.

  • If you have already registered your child through FamilyID for our UPK Program or If you have registered your child with the Registration Office for CPSE services,  your child is already registered for Kindergarten, you do not need to re-register on FamilyID.  If you would like to check to be sure you are registered already, or if you would like to make any updates to your child's existing account- contacts, ect- then please email the information to  Registration@bscsd.org.

There will be a Kindergarten Parent Orientation on Wednesday, March 11th, at 6:30PM, in the WR/MT Cafetorium. This event is very informative for new parents to the district and schools.

Kindergarten Screenings for each elementary school will be scheduled after your child is registered. In the spring, you will receive an email from the school that will include a form to sign your child up for a Screening day and time. The following schedule has been established for the Screenings in each school:

Milton Terrace- May 13 and 14

Wood Road- May 18, 19 and 20

Malta Avenue- June 2, 3 and 4

Gordon Creek- June 8, 9 and 10

Families who have completed registrations will be invited to schedule their child's Screening through Sign Up Genius.

For any questions regarding the registration process, please call the District Registrar, Annelise Kavanaugh, at 518-602-0256, or email Registaration@bscsd.org
