    The following clubs and activities will meet after school today:

    • No Place for Hate/International Club meeting in room 305
    • NJHS meeting in the MS café
    • Green Team in room 307 (bring your t-shirts)

    The grass is green, but the BSMS Ski Club is thinking snow! Please pick up an information packet, today outside the cafeteria, if you are interested in joining ski club! Remember, the club is first come first serve and the bus fills up fast, so reserve your seat ASAP! If you have questions please see Mr. McNulty in room 104.

    Come run with us! In Running Club, we run for fun! We will focus on form and good technique as well as play games and RUNNING. Anyone can join! Bus passes will be provided. Our first meeting will be October 1st in room 404. For more information, see Ms. Whiz or Mr. Germann.

    Do you love to read? Maybe you hate to read, but want to challenge yourself to improve your literacy? We have a lot of fun in Book club and we read some really interesting books that WE choose. For more information, contact Ms. Whiz! Our first meeting will be in room 404 on Wednesday, October 2nd. We will choose books at this meeting, so bring your ideas and bus passes will be provided.

    If you are interested in having fun and meeting new people, please join us for an informational meeting about Ballston Buddies (formally Best Buddies). We will be meeting after school tomorrow, in room 501.

    Student Council and NJHS are asking everyone to wear purple this Friday, September 20th to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s. NJHS will be selling purple BSMS Care bracelets during lunches this week. All proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association to find a cure for the disease that impacts more than 5 million Americans.

    6th graders are you looking for something fun to do this Friday? We are hosting a 6th grade activity night Friday, September 20th from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Admission is free. Pizza and water will be for sale ($1 each). There will be karaoke, dancing, swimming, and games! If you plan to swim, be sure to bring a towel and a bag for your wet suit.

    Any student that could not attend Launching Pad’s meeting yesterday, but IS interested in participating, should stop in room 206 to see Mr. Shaver for more information.

    Do you enjoy writing?  If you do, come to Creative Writing Club.  Our first meeting will be held on Thursday, September 19th in room 413.  6th, 7th and 8th graders are welcome.  Hope to see you there!

    Launching Pad will hold an informational meeting for this year’s production of Frozen Jr. tomorrow, Tuesday, September 17th from 2:30-3:30 in the HS auditorium.  All students interested in participating should plan on attending the meeting.  If you cannot make it to the meeting, please stop by room 206 to see Mr. Shaver for the information you need.

    If you are interested in joining the Robotics club, come to room 517 after school tomorrow, for our introductory meeting.  Please see Mr. Caughey or Mr. Donegan with any questions.

    Attention all 7th and 8th grade students interested in joining the FTC robotics teamMr. Ackroyd will be holding an informational meeting after school Tuesday, September 17th. All are welcome.  The meeting will take place at the Middle school in room 517.  That is the technology wood shop.  Please arrive on time.  If you have any questions email Mr. Ackroyd.
