Speech and Language
Speech/Language Therapists are professionals who evaluate and treat children who have speech/language needs. Speech needs include: difficulties with articulation, phonology, apraxia, fluency and voice. Language needs include: difficulties with receptive language (understanding language), expressive language (using language) and pragmatic language (social language skills).
The Speech and Language program provides evaluation, consultation, and/or direct therapy to students with communication disorders such as stuttering, impaired articulation, language impairment or voice disorders.
