Ballston Spa High School's Troupe presents...
Ballston Spa High School's Troupe is proud to present their production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature, the stage version includes all the songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, with new songs by Tim Rice. This beloved tale is a timeless masterpiece that has captured the hearts of audiences worldwide and is great for all ages. Featuring over 80 high school students on the stage, behind the scenes, and in the orchestra pit; together, the entire production company has poured their time, energy, and talent into creating a magical "tale as old as time" experience for the audience.
Performances are on March 21st, 22nd, and 23rd at 7:00pm, with two matinées on March 23rd and 24th at 1:00pm. Performances are held at Ballston Spa High School, 220 Ballston Avenue, Ballston Spa, NY 12020. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for senior citizens and students. Starring Peter Hinckley (Beast), Katie Benanto (Belle), Fiona Hughes (Mrs. Potts), Andrew Brooks (Cogsworth), Ben Ferrara (Lumiere), and Roman Mangino (Gaston). The remainder of the large cast is rounded out by the talents of Keith Dubois (La Fou), Lucy Dooling (Chip), and Zuzu Evans (Maurice). Other principals include Molly Tracey (Madame la Grande Bouche), and Kara Bowens (Babette).
Take advantage of this production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, which tells of Belle, a young woman in a French provincial town, and a Beast, a prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end, and he will be transformed into his former self. Time is running out. If the Beast cannot learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity!
