2025-2026 Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program

 

The Ballston Spa Central School District is proud to collaborate with local pre-kindergarten providers to provide strong early learning programs for our students.  The program is designed to prepare children with the prerequisite skills and to help develop an aptitude for learning.

There are still spots available for the 2025-26 school year based on current registration. Families with a child that will turn 4 on or before December 1st, 2025 are encouraged to complete the registration process. Registration information can be found below.

How do I sign my child up for the UPK program after the open enrollment period has ended?

Although we encourage families to participate in the annual open enrollment for the best chance of securing a placement for September, we continue to accept UPK applications after the close of the lottery period. Complete applications will be processed in the order in which they are received.  If the number of placements available to the District have already been filled, applicants will be placed on the waitlist. Parents/guardians on the waitlist will be notified when an opening occurs.

UPK Registration Checklist: Please review the information below to prepare for completing the registration process.  All documents must be uploaded to the registration platform, except physical/immunization records, which may be faxed Attn: UPK to 518-885-2530.  Only complete applications, with all required documents, will be offered placements, if available, or placed on the waitlist.
