Ballston Spa at Averill Park Thurs. 5/16 -

Natalia Guthrie with a key play on defense in the 5th inning making a diving catch with a runner on second and picked off the runner trying to advance to 3rd on the catch.

The next inning Guthrie to Perrone to Santoro for another double play. 

While each defense had 3 errors on the game, Ballston Spa made key plays and had key hits with runners on. 

Calleigh Sisk lead the team with a 1 out double in the first inning. 

Avery Santoro led off with a double in the 2nd inning scoring later on a sac fly from Natalia Guthrie.

Brooke Lescault contributed with a pinch hit RBI groundout in the 5th inning to help the cushion on the day. 

Sisk and Santoro both with 2 hits on the day for the Scotties.

The Scotties move on to the sectional semi finals for the first time since 2022.

Game 1 vs Webster Thomas who was undefeated until today. 5-3 win
Game 2 vs Jamesville Dewitt 3-0 win.

Madelyn Perrone with 2HR and 3 RBI on the day. 
Livia Wiltsie with a HR.
