Adult Fitness Opportunities at BSCSD

Adult Fitness Programs have closed for the 2024-25 school year. Many thanks to all that have participated. See you again in the fall of 2025. Have a great summer!Adult Fitness opportunities are now available within the district. Programs will be held during the school year, when school is in session. Registration for these programs is required. Program information and registration links are listed below. Any questions can be directed to mglastetter@bscsd.org or by calling the District Office at 518-884-7195 ext. 1329.

*Please be aware: All programs will be canceled if schools are closed due to inclement weather or when any other emergency school closure is warranted. Make-up dates will be added if/when possible.

*We reserve the right to cancel any program due to low enrollment.

Our Adult Fitness Programs are offered to benefit your health goals and build common bonds with like-minded people within our community. When space is available, we do our best to provide a selection of activities that can be enjoyed by all. We hope you are able to participate in one or more of our programs.

Adult Fitness Soccer

10 week program - Tuesdays, ~~8:15pm - 10:15pm~~ in the Milton Terrace/Wood Rd gymnasium. This is a full-court pick-up style soccer program. Staff will divide participants into teams upon arrival. This is not a league format. This adult fitness program is for recreation.

Adult Fitness Basketball

10 week program - Wednesdays, ~~8:00pm - 10:00pm~~ in the Middle School gymnasium. This is a full-court pick-up style basketball program. Staff will divide participants into teams upon arrival. This is not a league format. This adult fitness program is for recreation.

Adult Fitness Walk About

Information and Registration

The Adult Fitness Walk About Program will meet Monday - Thursday, 6:00pm -7:30pm in the Middle School Lobby. After signing in at the Middle School lobby, walking will take place throughout the MS/HS hallways unless otherwise directed.

The Walk About program provides a safe, indoor walking course within the Middle and High School for those interested in a low impact fitness activity.
