BSCSD says Farewell to School Resource Officer

SRO Jenae Heflin Receiving BOE Recognition for her service to the district

School Resource Officer, Deputy Jenae Heflin, was recognized at a recent Board of Education meeting on August 21, 2024 for her service and dedication to our district. Jenae will be leaving us at the end of this month to further her law enforcement career out of state.

“Deputy Heflin will be sorely missed by everyone in each of our schools. She has become a fixture in the district in recent years and has proven to be reliable, knowledgeable, hardworking and a fantastic resource for our staff and students alike. Jenae represents everything a District needs in an on-site officer and her efforts and presence here is one of the reasons I value our partnership with the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office”, said Dr. Gianleo Duca, Superintendent of Schools.

Please join us in wishing her the very best in her future endeavors. Best Wishes, Deputy Heflin.
