The district will host a Community Resource Fair on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 8:30am - 11:30am at the Ballston Spa Middle School. The fair will be held in conjunction with Scotties Closet from 9:00am - 1:00pm, an annual event providing free clothing and items to families from the community.

Positions are now available for Bus Drivers, Substitute Bus Attendants and Substitute Drivers. The Ballston Spa Education Foundation (BSEF) recently presented $9,388.00 in 2024 grant awards to educators in the Ballston Spa Central School District for educational enrichment projects in the schools.
Parents, staff, and community members are invited to hear from experts with The Prevention Council of Saratoga County and Healing Springs Recovery Center about current trends among teenagers and ask questions you have always wondered about. Narcan training will also be offered for those interested in learning about providing emergency treatment.

The Prevention Council recently presented the Ballston Spa elementary schools with books specifically addressing the topic of addiction. The donation includes resources that may be shared with children and the adults in their lives.

Launching Pad Productions, the Ballston Spa Middle School Drama Club, will present Finding Nemo Jr. Featuring over 70 students in the cast and 50 more working behind the scenes, this is a show you won't want your family to miss.

The District is hosting an evening program for parents focused on a personal and open discussion about depression, mental illness, and suicide; as well as how to speak about it with the youth in our school community.

The Ballston Spa CSD, in partnership with The Prevention Council, presents “Right Under Your Nose”, an interactive program about current substance-use trends. This adult only event takes place on January 5th, from 5:30pm – 6:45pm in the Ballston Spa High School Library.

The Music Department presents several annual winter concerts which are free and open to members of the community. Students and families are specifically invited and encouraged to attend and support the performing artists.

Beginning December 1, 2023, all students enrolled in the Ballston Spa Central School District will be able to receive ONE FREE breakfast meal and ONE FREE lunch meal daily.
