Tax Payment Information

BSCSD Tax Warrant expired at midnight, Nov 3, 2025.  Unpaid taxes have been turned over to the Saratoga County Treasurer (40 McMaster St. Ballston Spa, NY 12020). For more information and/or to pay your school tax bill please contact the Saratoga County Treasurer's Office at 518-884-4724.

Mail-In or Drop Box
Return Receiver’s Stub from your tax bill(s) with payment. For your convenience, a pre-addressed envelope is included with your tax bill. To obtain a receipt, return the entire tax bill(s) with payment. Due to the large quantity of mail, processing time for check payments could take up to 2 weeks to clear payer’s bank account.

Payment by Check

  • Make check, money order or certified bank check payable to: BSCSD Tax Collector.
  • Mail to: BSCSD Tax Collector, 70 Malta Ave., Ballston Spa, NY 12020.
  • Checks, money order, or certified bank checks must have a correct date and be signed (postdated/unsigned checks will be returned)
  • The numerical and written amounts must be the same
  • Please write a phone number on your check so if there are any issues, the Tax Collector can call and discuss them and possibly prevent a late payment fee. 
  • To obtain a receipt, please return the entire tax bill(s) with your payment
  • A $15.00 fee will be applied to the unpaid tax bill for a returned check (NSF, Account Closures, etc.) School Tax payment will not be accepted if non-sufficient funds (NSF) check fee is not included with payment. 

Pay Online (E-Check/Credit Card)
BSCSD accepts E-checks and credit card payments for school tax bills, using the online payment service MuniciPay. 

  • Go to infotaxonline.com and select Ballston Spa CSD from the list of school districts.  Locate your tax bill(s) by entering only one form of information such as the bill number or property owner's last name (leave all other fields blank).  Once you locate the Tax Bill, scroll to the bottom of the page, click the "Pay" tab on the lower left, and follow the directions given by MuniciPay to make payment.
  • E-checks and credit card payments are available online only and are not available by phone.
  • E-check payments require your 9-digit routing number and account number from your checking account. *Please note:  Taxpayers are responsible for any fees associated with using online payment service.  Fees are collected by MuniciPay ($1.50 per transaction)
  • Credit/Debit Card payment will approve or decline immediately and will incur a fee of 2.65% per transaction with a minimum service fee of $3.00 collected by MuniciPay.

IMPORTANT DEADLINES:

  • Payment due without penalty 9/04/2025 thru 10/03/2025 (POSTMARK)
  • Payment due with 2% penalty 10/04/2025 thru 11/03/2025 (POSTMARK)

*Please Note: Taxes that remain unpaid after 11/03/2025 (POSTMARK) are turned over to the Saratoga County Treasurer (40 McMaster St. Ballston Spa, NY 12020) and will appear on your January Town & County Tax bill, including additional penalties.
