    Our School Day at Gordon Creek Elementary

     

    November 18 and 19 - Half Day for K-5: Parent Teacher Conferences

    School Begins at 9:00 AM. School Dismisses at 3:20 PM.

    Arrival 8:55-9:05 AM

    Buses unload at 9:00 AM. Students who are being dropped off at school in the morning may be dropped off beginning at 8:55 AM. For the safety of students, those studens who arrive prior to 8:55 AM must be walked across the crosswalk to the school entrance by a parent/guardian. Staff will be in the parking lot to cross students from 8:55 AM until 9:05 AM. Students that arrive after 9:05 AM should be walked into the main office by a parent/guardian. For safety reasons, students should exit the side of the vehichle that faces the bus loop to avoid traffic. Students should not walk unattended through the parking lot.

    Dismissal - 3:20 PM

    If your student is being picked up during or after school, please send a note in to school with your student.

    Students who are absent from school, upon return, will need a note from a parent/guardian stating the reason for the absence.

     

     During the winter months, students will be going outside for recess when weather permits. Please make sure your student comes to school with the proper clothing.

  • Mamma Mia! Tonight at BSHS

    Performances will be at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday November 14, 15, and 16. There is also a matinee at 1:00 on Saturday, November 16. All shows will be at Ballston Spa High School Auditorium, 220 Ballston Avenue.

  • Scotties BackPack Program

    The program started with providing weekend meals to 30 students and the goal is to provide food for 175 students this school year. The cost to provide weekend meals for one student for the school year is $183. Revenue to support the program is raised by individual and corporate donations as well as through any available grant sources.

  • Adult Fitness Opportunities

    The Ballston Spa Community Education Program is currently offering two adult sports opportunities from 8:00-10:00 pm with Co-ed Indoor Soccer held on Mondays and Men’s Basketball on Wednesdays. The popular Walk About program provides a safe, indoor walking course for those interested in a low impact fitness activity.
