    Responding to text based questions

     

    Text-Based Evidence is the process of providing facts from the text to support a written answer/justification.  To properly use Text-Based Evidence, students will need to use their own words, as well as words from the text that support their response.  Our class uses the “R.A.C.E.” acronym to remember all parts of a written response.  The following “Prezi” explains each part of the R.A.C.E. response and gives an example of a model response.  Be sure to check out the Prezi and additional resources attached below.
