  • Spirit Week and Parade at Milton Terrace!

    Hello Milton Terrace Families, Our staff at Milton Terrace Elementary School wants all of our students to know how much we are missing them every day! We have planned some fun activities for next week and we hope you’ll join us. Our Milton Terrace Student Council President and MTE 5th Grader, Andrew Miller, has put together a virtual Spirit Week to take place next week.   • Food Service for Free/Reduced Lunch Students

    Free and Reduced Breakfasts and Lunches: (available for students enrolled in the program) Parents or other family members may begin picking up those meals starting March 16, 2020, and each weekday thereafter at the following locations between 10:30 am and 1:00 pm: High School/Middle School Students - Use HS main entrance Malta Students - Use Malta Ave Elementary School main entrance. GC/MT/WR Students- Use Milton Terrace Elementary School Cafeteria Side Entrance Town of Milton - Community Center Town of Malta - Community Center Town of Ballston - Town Hall ***Parents with more than one student only need to visit one location to pickup food. ***** Backpack Food Program: The elementary school program will continue during the school closure according to the same delivery methods/time.

  • A Message from the Superintendent

    Dear Parents and Community Members: Our continued thanks for your patience as we work through a rather substantial number of details relative to our school closure which takes effect today with an intended reopening on April 20th, pending direction from government and health officials. For many of you, we know this decision has caused a tremendous amount of stress relative to jobs, childcare, availability of food, etc. To that end, we will continue to work both with our school partners as well as community and state partners to provide as much information and assistance as we can. In the meantime, we wanted to share with you the following information: Closure Duration: Schools are closed March 16 – April 19, 2020 with an intended reopening on April 20, 2020. School Building Access: Materials pick up: The Middle and High Schools will be open on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm for parents and students who wish to pick up books, instruments (as allowed by department staff), and prescribed medications for children that are currently stored at the nurses’ offices. Specific information will be forthcoming from your building principal as we need to be thoughtful about minimizing group sizes that are in our buildings as well as provide rules for what such visits look like. Outside groups use: Use of our facilities and grounds will not be allowed for the first two week period of closure. We will update you on our decisions for access during the subsequent two weeks. Instructional Materials: While High School students have received their initial (for the next two weeks) packets and directions, students in 6-8 may pick up their packets at their buildings on Tuesday from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm based on the rules sent to you by your child’s principal. Any packets not picked up will be mailed to homes with instructions enclosed. ***UPDATE - K-5 materials will be mailed home from the Elementary Schools.
