    Malta Drive In Movie Night

Our Malta Ave PTA is planning a special event at the Malta Drive In. On Sunday evening, September 26th, at 7 PM, all Malta Avenue students, families, and staff members will have a free private showing of Space Jam: A New Legacy.  A special thank you goes out to @BFGFoundation for sponsoring this wonderful event for our students! We can’t wait for this fun event. Gates and snackbar open at 6 PM.

    Our Malta Ave Community

One of our core values at Malta Avenue is community, so we continue to be intentional about fostering community between Malta Ave students, staff, and families. To that end, this year we will be adding a staff spotlight in our monthly newsletter called, Faces of Malta Avenue. We hope you enjoy reading about our exceptional Malta Avenue staff members.

    The Malta Way

I want to remind our school community about “The Malta Way.” We believe that “The Malta Way” is being proud of who you are on the inside and how you show it on the outside. We ask ourselves the three core questions that help us to follow “The Malta Way.”

Am I being the best for myself?

Am I being the best for my school?

Am I being the best for my family?

These are questions that I encourage you to think about and talk about with your child(ren).

Character Education Word Of The Month: Citizenship:

Our character education word for September is Citizenship - Do your share. Do your part to make your school and community better. Treat everyone equally - work well with others - stay informed - vote - be a good neighbor - obey laws and rules.

    Ice Cream Socials

Thank you to all of our students, staff, and families for joining our ice cream socials during the last week of August. It was a joyful occasion having our students and families back on the Malta Avenue campus. A special thank you to Stewarts for donating the ice cream and our Malta Ave PTA for their enthusiasm, support, and planning.
