Our unit on the Industrial Revolution focuses on some of the new technology of the time as well as the use of monopolies and trusts to gain an unfair advantage in the marketplace.  We'll also be discussing the terrible conditions faced by workers and the impending influx of immigrants that led to eventual labor reform.
