In our Immigration unit, students will examine the impact of the European and Asian migrations to America and how the large influx of new people caused overcrowding, urbanization, and an unsafe standard of living in many major US cities.  We will also be studying the impact of immigration on the culture of American society and it's contribution to the "Melting Pot" theory.
