Grading Policy
Assessments
-60% of the quarterly grade
-are always announced in advance
-will require students to show all work
-it is the student’s responsibility to make up all tests/quizzes in a timely manner
after an absence
-can be corrected to receive some credit back **(We only allow corrections on tests)**
Homework
-20% of the quarterly grade
-will be checked daily and is expected to be completed on time
-will be assigned on a regular basis to reinforce the daily lesson
-all work must be shown unless otherwise instructed
-will be reviewed in class and will be self-corrected
-it is the student’s responsibility to make up all notes and homework
assignments in a timely manner after an absence
-no calculators can be used unless otherwise instructed
Classwork
-20% of the quarterly grade
-this may include, but is not limited to:
-Fluency finale
-Review assignments
-Classroom activities
-Math lab (if applicable)
-Graded in-class assignments
-Advisory grade (if applicable)
