What is science and why is it so important?
Science is a way of solving problems. It is the study of the universe and of everything in the universe. Science is what allows us to learn new things, and enables us to develop new technology. Science allows us to find treatments and cures for diseases. Science allows us to find alternative sources of energy. Science has allowed us to develop computers, the internet, cell phones, cars, washing machines, and all of the various inventions that have made our lives easier. Science is amazing.
8th Grade Science
Eighth grade science has a very rich curriculum, which covers a variety of topics. For example, we will cover topics in live science, chemistry, earth science, and astronomy. We will incorporate as much hands on learning as possible throughout the year, so there will be variety of projects and lab activities.
