"Think and Wonder, Wonder and Think"

6th grade is a new and exciting year for students! Not only are they changing classes, but they get to have each class for 1 hour, 4 days per week.  Our science classroom is designed for hands on learning and activities that deepen students' knowledge and understanding. 

Grades are calculated as follows:

• Homework = 20%,
• Classwork = 40%,
• Assessments = 40%

Our 6th grade science curriculum will include the following topics:

• Environmental Science
• Metric Measurement and Graphing
• Scientific Method
• Rocks & Minerals
• Microscopes and Small Things
• Human Body: Anatomy and Physiology
• Worm and Frog: Anatomy and Physiology
• Embryology
• Energy Conservation
