Regents Biology is a one year laboratory course in modern biology following the Living Environment Core Curriculum. It is designed to provide broad general understandings of the fundamental principles of biology and to provide an extension of understanding in selected areas.
During the school year, we will be completing the following units of study: Scientific Method, Life Processes, Biochemistry, Microscopes and Cells, Transport, Cellular Energy, Mitosis, The Human Body, Immune System, Human Reproduction, Meiosis, Genetics, Modern Genetics, Evolution and Classification, Ecology and Human Impact on the Environment.
