Community Education Programs
Opportunities are available for adult sports and fitness programs with two sessions being held during the school year - fall and winter/spring, including:
Co-Ed Soccer, Monday evenings, 8:00-10:00 pm in the Wood Road/ MT Gymnasium
Men's Basketball, Wednesday evenings, 8:00-10:00 pm in the Gordon Creek School Gymnasium
The Walk About program provides a safe, indoor walking course within the Middle and High School for those interested in a low impact fitness activity. The program runs from October through the annual spring recess, Monday through Thursday evenings from 6:00 - 7:30 pm, when school is in session.
Registration for these programs is required by utilizing the forms available below, or by calling the District Office at 884-7195 ext. 1329.
The District offers public use of the swimming pool during early morning (6:00-7:00 am, Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and evening lap swimming twice a week. A Family and Open Swim time is held generally on Saturday afternoons. The aquatics program is also offering an Aqua Cardio Strengthening class for adults on Monday and Wednesday evenings (an additional fee and pre-registration is required). Schedule changes are announced on the aquatics webpage and placed on the answering machine at the pool.
The Community Swim Program is open to district students, families and community members. District residents need to show identification and pay a $1.00 entrance fee to utilize the pool. Non- residents pay a $2.00 fee for use of the pool.
