• NYSPHSAA (the New York State Public High School Athletic Association) has announced that the start date for Fall sports has been pushed back to September 21st and the Fall Regional and State Championships have been cancelled due to COVID 19 pandemic. NYSPHSAA Press Release

    Fall Sports Registration dates: 
    High School Level - Aug. 21 – Sept. 8
    Modified Football -  Aug. 21 – Sept. 8
    Modified/Mod 9 Sports - Aug. 21 – Sept. 8

    Any student who desires to participate in an interscholastic sport at Ballston Spa must first:

    • Be enrolled as a bona fide student in the BSCSD in grades 7-12.

    • Complete Registration Process on FAMILY ID including submission of a record of a physical examination, conducted by the school or your personal physician. Physicals are good for 1 calendar year. In addition, the school physician must approve the student for participation.

    Students in 7th & 8th grade who wish to participate on a freshman, junior varsity, or varsity level team must be approved through the Athletic Placement Process - click here
