What is Art Madness all about?

The art madness project is an artist research project that puts 16 works of Art in a single elimination bracket that follows the March Madness NCAA Basketball tournaments.

 In class students will research basic information about all 16 works of art and the corresponding Artists. Students will answer basic questions, create opinions, and critique classical and modern works of Art.

 Students will work in groups and as a class to critique the artists in the bracket.  Votes for the artists/works of Art will be a total of all classes and will determine what works of Art advance in each round. 

Process:

• Students use the informational handouts to find the work of art and corresponding artist photo. Cut both out and glue in the provided area above the questions.
• Use the information provided on the hand out to answer the basic informational questions and then answer the three critique opinion based questions.
