  • Spectacular Scotties for April

    A Spectacular Scottie is a student who demonstrates good character not just in their academics, but in being supportive of and friendly towards their peers, is trustworthy, has a positive attitude, is involved in the community, or who shows improvement in their performance. The students nominated for April are: Damien Chandler, Gabril Delph, Lillian Fecura, Cameron Folli, Mikayla LaBounty, Lindsey Mitchell, Rebecca Priest, Bella Totino, Carlton Wheeler, Greg Wilson. Congratulations to these Spectacular Scotties!

  • BSHS Student Book Club

    The Ballston Spa High School Student Book Club is currently reading Orphan Monster Spy by Matt Killeen. Members received free personal copies of the book because of a generous grant from Global Foundries. New members are always welcome...please see Mrs. Malm or Mrs. Marcincuk.

  • BSHS SPANISH EXCHANGE WITH IES PADRE ISLA, 2019

    Lasting memories and treasured friendships were formed on a Spanish Exchange trip between twenty BSHS students and Padre Isla students from León, Spain. BSHS students arrived on March 21st to spend their days attending school and experiencing Spanish life while staying with their host family. Spanish & American students and families were further enriched by the cultural and linguistic connections shared when Padre Isla recently visited Ballston Spa. This experience has touched the hearts and minds of our school community.

  • BSpa Science Olympiad Team Qualifies for State Competition

    The Ballston Spa High School Science Olympiad team recently placed 3rd at the regional competition at the College of Saint Rose. Ballston Spa students won medals in an astounding 13 out of 25 events. Their successful finish qualified the team for the State competition at LeMoyne College on March 15th and 16th where the team medaled in one of the events. The team is coached by High School instructors Theresa Rousseau and Jim Poirier.

  • School Pride Day on May 21, 2019

    The Ballston Spa Central School District annual SCHOOL PRIDE DAY will be held on May 21, 2019 throughout the district. All events & performances are free and open to the public. Come join the festivities, wear your purple & gold and help celebrate Scottie Pride.

  • School Budget Info - VOTE May 21

    The annual statewide School Budget Vote and Board of Education Elections will be held May 21, 2019 from 7:00 am - 9:00 pm. District residents vote at the Malta Town Hall (residents of Malta) and the Ballston Spa High School Library (residents of Milton, Ballston and Charlton).
