Our WORLD LANGUAGE classes are designed with the following objectives in mind:

• Students will develop communication skills in the areas of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in the target language
• Students will develop an understanding of other cultures and customs as appropriate to the language of study
• Students will achieve an understanding of their role as global citizens and strong community leaders as related to the nine Graduation Competencies of BSCSD

WORLD LANGUAGES – French & Spanish:  Language study begins in 6th grade and curricula for French and Spanish are similar. The order in which topics are covered may be different based on teacher preference and classroom flow. Our curriculum includes, but is not limited to, the following:
