    “A” Day 

    CLUBS & ACTIVITIES:
    This weekend the high school has two Odyssey of the Mind teams competing at the New York State Tournament in Binghamton, NY. The winners of this competition get to advance to the world finals, in East Lansing Michigan. Good Luck! 

    SIGN-UP & DEADLINES:
    Ballston Spa's Got Talent application forms are due today Friday March 22nd

    Attention Juniors – Junior Award applications are due to Mrs. Vivian in the guidance office by today Friday, March 22nd. 

    ATHLETIC:
    All student athletes are expected to leave at the half day dismissal today Friday March 22nd. If you have practice Friday afternoon you may return to the building after 3pm.    

    There will be no Modified or Modified 9 practices today Friday March 22nd.

    NOTES FROM THE OFFICE: 
    Attention Juniors, Sophomores and Freshman:  The Steamboat Dance Cruise contracts are available in the Assistant Principal’s office now.  You must have an approved contract on file BEFORE you are able to purchase a ticket.  The cost of a ticket is $30.00 and will be on sale April 12th – April 18th during all lunches in the Guidance Conference room. 

    SCROLLING ONLY:
    Attention Seniors: Prom eligibility began Friday March 1st.   You must be graduation eligible, meet academic eligibility guidelines and maintain a 90% attendance rate from 3/1/19 to 6/14/19 – excused and unexcused absences count!  Prom contracts will be available the beginning of April.

    Attention Juniors, Sophomores and Freshman:  Steamboat Cruise eligibility began Friday March 1st.  You must meet academic eligibility guidelines and maintain a 90% attendance rate from 3/1/19 to 5/03/19.  You must be present in school for the full day on May 3rd to attend.  Excused and unexcused absences count!  Cruise contracts will be available the beginning of March.

    ATTENTION ALL STUDENT DRIVERS - There have been several complaints from the community and staff at the high school and middle school that some students are driving recklessly, speeding on Garrett Road and pulling in and out of the parking lots in an unsafe manner.  PLEASE remember to follow the speed limits and PLEASE pull in and out of the parking lots safely and abide by the rules of the road.  Thank you!

    There are a limited number of yearbooks left.  Pre-order now, either online or by check with an order form that can be found outside room 107 or in the Assistant Principal’s office.  Yearbooks are $70.  Once they are gone, they are gone.  There are no additional copies.  Please see Ms. Wert or Mrs. Masto with any questions. 

    Attention all students that wish to drive to school.  There are currently no parking spots left in the Junior or Senior Lot.  There is a waiting list I the assistant principal’s office in case spots become available.  See Miss Howard if you have any questions.

    Attention Junior and Senior drivers:  Please check your car carefully before you come into school in the morning.  You are not allowed to go to the parking lots during the school day, due to safety reasons.  Thank you! 

    Juniors and Seniors who, at any time, are driving a different car than the one they put on their driving application, MUST see Miss Howard in the Assistant Principal’s office with their new/different car information.  Also, if your license plate number has changed, she will need that information as well.  Please be sure to park in your assigned spot every day.  Thank you. 

    Students are not allowed to walk through the Middle School until after 2:30 pm for any reason.  Please walk outside to access the Middle School or Junior Lot prior to 2:30.
