ParenntCONNECT is here! Click here to sign up now. If you already have an account, login here. The District is proud to announce the launching of an innovative new tool called ParentCONNECT. Available starting September 1, 2009, ParentCONNECT is a convenient communication tool that allows parents/guardians to keep track of their student's academic progress on-line. Initially, the system will be available for students in grades 6 through 12, with grades kindergarten through 5 coming shortly thereafter. Using ParentCONNECT, parents/guardians can visit the password-protected website to view their student’s class schedule, grades, class assignments, and attendance, as well as view school and district announcements. Parents/guardians can also easily communicate with teachers via e-mail or receive automatic e-mail notification of unexcused absences, missing assignments or failing grades. With this new technology, Ballston Spa parents/guardians now have a unique opportunity to become directly involved in their student’s education by having unprecedented access to current information on their students. While we don’t expect ParentCONNECT to take the place of regular teacher-parent contact, we do see this technology as a powerful communication tool further bolstering our commitment to cooperative education in the 21st century. How can I improve my grade in Mr. Balet's class?  - Make Flash Cards or a Study Tool to prepare for a test or quiz.
- Find a song related to the current class topic and explain how the lyrics are related. Or better yet write your own song!!!!
- Complete the Alternative Assignment sheet (at bottom of this page) and associated project, to show Mr. B how much you know about the topic.Ex) A student who is an avid artist might illustrate the ecological relationships in an ecosystem.
- Get involved with extracurricular activities at school. Extra credit is awarded for attending PTSA meetings or the Amnesty International Coffee House. Check out the following dates:
