Facilities Planning Information
The Board of Education has
examined our facilities and determined that, as we prepare for the future,
we will need to upgrade some of our existing buildings/space, accommodate
new students and adopt a full day kindergarten program. As we plan to build
additional space, we will reconfigure the schools into a kindergarten
through fifth grade design and plan for adaptive reuses
of the current Malta Ave. school building. The Board members will focus specifically on
designing plans for expanding our current school facilities during the
2007-08 school year and prepare for a public referendum for the
community. Please watch for additional information throughout the year
and/or attend a Board of Education meeting to hear the most current plans.
There will also be specific discussion meetings on the third Wednesday of
each month (below).
