Winter Concerts in Full Swing! - Congratulations to our students and teachers at Malta Ave. Elementary School, Milton Terrace South Elementary School and to our Middle School Bands and 6th & 7th grade chorus’s on the success of your recent concerts. Several concerts have yet to take place…if you want to be filled with the spirit of the season, why not plan on attending these FREE concerts to support our talented students?

Charles Dickens Christmas Carol Production Friday, December 18th at 6:30pm BSHS (HS Theatre Service Learning) If you truly want to feel the real joy of the season, please plan to attend this Saratoga Bridges staged production of Charles Dickens Christmas Carol. The cast is comprised entirely of adults with disabilities and have been mentored by BSHS theatre students under the direction of theatre teacher Laurie Larson and Humanities Coordinator, Peg Brady. The production is truly heartwarming! The Bridges actors are extremely excited about their first acting debuts. There is no admission cost as this production is part of a service learning project sponsored by State Farm Insurance Company. An intermission with refreshments will be part of this event. Please join us… you will be glad you did!

ART Contest Opportunity for students in grades 1 through 5 - The Ballston Spa Garden Club is again sponsoring the Smokey Bear/Woodsy Owl poster contest. The deadline for all poster submissions is January 6th. Last year we had a New York State Regional Winner chosen from the Malta Avenue Elementary School. NYSSMA Piano Festival Upcoming Concert Dates: The NYSSMA piano festival will take place in our region on March 5th & 6th at the College of St. Rose. Registration forms and payment are due January 6th and can be found on the BSCSD Fine Arts Website!
