The goal of the Malta Avenue School Library is to teach students the many skills needed in this millennium's information explosion.  Students will learn how to access and evaluate information as well as apply it to the necessary task.  Students will learn how to locate materials not only for educational needs, but also for personal and recreational needs.   Classes will visit the library each week for book exchange, while library instruction (research projects, as well as genre and author studies) will be scheduled as necessary throughout the school year with teacher/classroom collaboration.
