Library Policies
Important information about overdue/lost or damaged library materials:
If outstanding materials are not
returned or paid for by the end of the quarter, report cards will not be
mailed home. Parents/guardians will have to come to the Main Office
to pick up their student's report cards

High School Library Rules For Student Use

Sign in on the appropriate sheet at the Circulation Desk.

Treat all students, staff and materials
with respect.

Work on appropriate schoolwork when in the Library.

If using the Library for material selection only, please
follow the time limits. Others are
waiting to come to the Library
when you return to study hall or class.

Sign out and get a pass if leaving before the bell.
No sign outs are allowed during the last 10 minutes of the period.
Consequences
1. First time, verbal warning.
2. Second time, return to class or study hall.
3. Continual refusal to follow the rules will result in
loss of Library privileges for a period
of time.
4. Severe disruption/inappropriate behavior will result
in a referral to the Assistant
Principal's Office.

Library Computer Rules
- Use of
computers and printers is for school-related work only.
- Evaluate the content and length of material before
printing; if more than 4 pages, ask library staff. Do not
waste ink and paper.
- No e-mail, chat rooms,
messaging or other correspondence is permitted. If you need access
to email for school-related work, prior arrangements are to be made with a
teacher.
- Do not tamper with
connectors, keyboards, or other hardware.
- Save all files to a diskette, flash drive or network
folder (H:). If you save to the computer's hard drive (C:), your
work will be lost when the computer is rebooted.
