The High School Sports will begin in mid August, with football teams starting on the 16^th and all other teams by the 23^rd. Student athletes should have all paperwork completed (including physicals) by August 2^nd. Parents should plan to attend team meetings on August 26^th to learn more about the specifics of each sport.
- HS Fall Sports Parents Night is Thursday, 8/26, at 6:30pm in the BSHS Auditorium for FR JV & Varsity parents.
- Modified Fall Sports Parents Night is Thursday, 9/1, at 6:30pm in the BSHS Auditorium.

The Ballston Spa Booster Club would like to invite players and families of the boys' and girls' modified, freshman, JV and Varsity teams to the kick off picnic on September 2nd at 6pm. We will meet on the soccer fields in front of the middle school.
Attention Ice Hockey Players - The BHBS Ice Hockey Booster Club hopes to run a “before season” program. Coach Peretti has reserved ice time at Union College on Tuesdays 7:45-9:00 PM during September, and both Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:45-9:00pm, in October. We will play 8-10 games against other local high school programs, which will be scheduled on weekends and during our practice slots in late Sept and Oct. The estimated cost of the preseason program is $275 per player. Please e-mail Walt Peretti at walter.peretti@wcb.state.ny.us if you are interested. If we have enough interest we will proceed.
School District Event Parking Options
The Ballston Spa Central School District would like to remind members of the school community that parking is banned on Garrett Road by the Town of Ballston. Parking on the shoulder of Garrett Road creates a hazard, blocking the flow of private as well as emergency vehicles. The area is labeled with no parking signs and patrolled by local law enforcement officials. Parking is available in the school parking lots, which are accessed from Ballston Avenue. Parents and community members are encouraged to park in the front parking lots and will be directed to them during large athletic events. For more information on parking options, please call the High School Office at 884-7150 ext. 2351.
Attention all students who attend sporting events as spectators: Please be advised that, due to safety reasons, backpacks are no longer allowed into sporting events. If you absolutely must carry such a bag then understand that administration reserves the right to search the bag prior to your admittance.
