Ballston Spa Aquatics Program

The Ballston Spa High School Pool is a six lane 25 yard facility with one meter diving boards.  The pool hosts a variety of community events and activities including both the girls and boys varsity swim teams, the modified swim team and the Ballston Spa Swordfish swim club. 

During the school day, the pool is used by the elementary schools, middle school, and high school as a part of the districts physical education program.   In addition to hosting school activities, and swim team programs, the pool is home to lap and community open swim and a seasonal learn to swim program. 

Summer Pool Hours:

The School District has announced summer hours for public use of the swimming pool during early morning (6:00-7:00 am, Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and evening (7:30-9:00 pm, Monday – Thursday) for adult/ lap swimming. A Family and Open Swim time is held on Saturday afternoons from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. The aquatics program is also offering an Aqua Cardio Strengthening class for adults on Monday and Wednesday evenings, starting July 7^th, for an additional fee and pre-registration is required. Summer hours will continue until August 12^th. Schedule changes are announced on the aquatics webpage and placed on the answering machine at the pool.

The Community Swim Program is open to district students, families and community members.  District residents need to show identification and pay a $1.00 entrance fee to utilize the pool. Non- residents pay a $2.00 fee for use of the pool.
